Craving

I woke up at 1:30 this morning to pee and take anti-sick meds. When I crawled back into bed I was starving and had a huge craving for strawberry ice cream (my only real craving thus far). I reasoned that I could NOT be up eating ice cream in the wee hours and was finally able to drift off to sleep. When I woke up again at 8:30 I was dieing to watch The Parent Trap -original Disney version not that new crap - right Christa? :) - .....and eat strawberry ice cream! I am currently watching Parent Trap, and though I have agreed to eat my eggs and bacon for breakfast.. I am SO having that strawberry ice cream right afterward!

The weather is beautiful here today!!! I plan to be out in it presently! I hope everyone else is having as wonderful a Saturday morning as we are!! Happy Groundhog Day!!

Sounds like you must be feeling better! =) Maybe the hypermesis? thing got triggered by the extra hormones from an extra baby, so maybe it'll go away when your body gets used to it. You can always hope, right? =)

Wow, I can't believe you've been so sick! Poor you:( I hate throwing up (not that anyone enjoys it) - it always scare me and I cry while I'm sick. Glad the medicine is helping you a little. Have you read Expecting Adam by Martha Beck? I thought of that immediately when you talked about how sick you've been. When I was pregnant I craved the good Mexican food - ate a lot of Veggie burritos with Horchata in Colorado. And of course beer and sushi - I wanted it so bad. I always craved things that were really good for me the first eight months like avocados but then the last two it was sweets which was tragic because heartburn is so bad at that stage. The best food I've ever had in my life were the things I craved and then ate when I was pregnant. Enjoy that ice cream:)

Ohh, so sorry you are so sick. Sounds like the peppermint only worked for a little while. Strawberry icecream and the ORIGINAL Parent Trap (a little of Sharon and Susan is always good for the soul) sounds like a great combo for cravings. I just can't believe your self control to wait until after breakfast!!! Good for you. Sorry to tell you, though....those midnigt and all-night visits to the "throne" will only increase.
This is random (but then when haven't I been random)...I thought about leaving you a comment to tell you to chug the "pink the stuff" if you were feeling sick. Remember when my mom would carry a bottle of Pepto in her purse. She would just turn it up and chug it when her stomach would hurt. Which usually occured while she was yelling at Nate or I. We thought her chuggin' the pink was so funny.

Love Ya
Chris

P.S. If you are still feeling bad, just take a pillow and go around your living room hitting things with it....(from our fav scene from the movie P.T.)
